Philosophy

The preschool program of Trinity Lutheran School works in partnership with parents in the important role of providing for growth and development of the preschool child.
Objectives

  • Help the child to think of Jesus as their friend and Lord
  • Promote learning through work and play in a Christian environment
  • Assist in a gradual adjustment from home to school life
  • Help the children learn how to cope with life at their own level of maturity
  • Broaden the child's interests and experiences
  • Prepare the child for future school life
  • Assist in the development of good personal habits
  • Help the child to show love for themselves and others

Early Learners

  • Three years old by September 1st
  • Two day program
  • Parents choose 2 of the 3 Early Learner Plus class periods
  • Morning session (8:20-11:00 am)
  • 12 students per class
  • Teacher and aide

Early Learners Plus

  • Three years old by September 1st
  • Three day program
  • Mon., Wed. & Fri.
  • Morning session (8:20-11:00 am)
  • 12 students per class
  • Teacher and aide

Pre-Kindergarten

  • Four years old by September 1st
  • Three day program
  • Mon., Tues. and Wed.
  • Morning session (8:20-11:00 am)
  • Afternoon session (12:20-3:00 pm)
  • 16 students per class
  • Teacher and aide

Pre-Kindergarten Plus

  • Four or five years old by September 1st
  • One additional day for enrichment
  • Four day program
  • Mon. - Thurs.
  • Morning session (8:20-11:00 am)
  • Afternoon session (12:20-3:00 pm)

Trinity Care (Extended Care)

As a convenience for working parents Trinity offers before and after school care for children enrolled at Trinity. The Trinity Care program operates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
