Frequently Asked Questions

Parents have two options; tuition may be paid in full at the beginning of the year or parents may enroll in a tuition management program (SMART). Parents have a choice between ten or twelve monthly payments which are automatically deducted from checking or savings accounts by SMART. The ten month plan begins deductions in August and the twelve month plan begins in June. Both plans end in May.

Yes. A student’s dress is an important part of their success. The dress code for students in grades 1-8 is:

Shoes that have a back to them
Pants, shorts, skirts, and skorts that are clean and without holes or fraying
Shirts that are received through Trinity or Lutheran High School

Special days may be approved by the principal. Any questions about appropriateness of attire are directed to the principal.

Some of the activities offered are: Hand-bells, choir, piano lessons, band, operetta, soccer, volleyball, basketball, scouts, basketball intramurals, spelling bee, Bible quiz, science fair, etc.

Students in grades six through eight wear uniforms for the physical education classes.

All of these classes are taught to meet state accreditation. Trinity's staff includes a Music and Choir teacher, P.E. teacher for grades K-8. The homeroom teachers teach their students Art.

Classes visit our library each Friday to checkout books, magazines, and videos.

Students use computers in all classes. The computers are used in the classrooms and in the lab. The Computer Lab is networked.

Trinity offers childcare to children who are enrolled and who are at least three years of age.

Trinity has opened a full-day nursery care ministry for children ages 6 weeks-2 years old. The nursery is open Monday-Friday, 7 AM-6 PM. For more information, please the office, 897-0243.

Hot lunch is served on a daily basis. Students may also bring a cold lunch if they desire.

The ISTEP+ exam is administered in grades three through eight.

Because Trinity is state accredited, the textbooks used are on the state adoption list.

All preschool and kindergarten classes have an aide. In the primary grades aides are hired based on enrollment. Trinity also utilizes many volunteers from our congregation.

All of the teachers have a degree; 7 of 13 teachers of hold masters degrees.

Early Learners – 12 students
Pre-kindergarten – 16 students
Kindergarten – 22 students
Grades 1-8 – 28 students

Presently there is one section of Early Learners, two sections of Pre-kindergarten. Kindergarten-8th grades have one class.

Grades 1-4 begin each day at 8:15 a.m. and end at 3:10 p.m.

Grades 5-8 begin each day at 8:15 a.m. and end at 3:20 p.m.

Kindergarten begins at 8:20 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.

The morning Pre-Kindergarten class (4/5 year olds) and the Early Learner class (3/4 year olds) begins at 8:20 a.m. and ends at 11:00 a.m.
The afternoon Pre-Kindergarten class begins at 12:20 p.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.

There are currently 161 students in preschool through grade eight.
